Should I See Rogue One In 3d

So as the title of this review mentions i saw the midnight screening of rogue one in imax 3d and boy oh boy was it worth it the 3d isnt eye popping it is used to give a real depth of field to the movie right from the start of the film with its opening scene you feel the expanse with not on the 3d effect but also from the extremely large imax screen which takes you into the action of the film.

Should i see rogue one in 3d. So id say no. But for my first viewing ill definitely be going with 2d. Im absolutely with you on that one. So obviously its going to be.

I have also since seen it in a dolby atmos 2d environment and that was the shiznit. Im gonna keep this real short and simple from a guy who saw rogue one five times twice in 3d imax. However with rogue one i much preferred the 2d 70mm version to 3d. Now avatar was a 3d movie.

You see ships laser blasts and other cool stuff jump out at you out of the screen. Gravity was a 3d movie. A star wars storyis the day youve been waiting for. I think that imax 3d is larger and meant to be better quality.

Its worth seeing in 3d imax but i wouldnt go see in 3d regular because the movie doesnt have enough 3d moments and the glasses dim the lovely lit scenes. If youre one of the star warsfans eagerly awaiting their return to that galaxy far far away rogue one. Rogue one director explains the films title. Last years the force awakens.

Several theaters regal cinemas showplace icon and kerasotes theatres are offering collectible 3d glasses. I saw it in 3d only because i refused to sit in the front 3 rows and i wanted to see it that nightand it definitely didnt feel like 3d added anything to it. Ill go see it in imax 3d afterwards too. So should you see rogue one in 3d or is the 2d version of the film just as good.
