3d Printer Glass Bed Hairspray
The easiest way to affix your glass bed to your 3d printers bed is to use small binder clips.
3d printer glass bed hairspray. Much like using hair spray for adhesion this is the method generally accepted by the 3d printing community. This is a tip for people who like me i did dont know how to properly use glass and hairspray to make the best build surface. It works on a glass bed heated at 50 deg. Works perfectly even too much at times.
For the pla you will just have to use a razor or something and scrape it. Unlike glue stick applying hairspray can get a bit messy so its best to remove your glass bed from your 3d printer and apply the hairspray a good distance away. Remember whenever using flam. The spray application method should make it easier to get a nice even coat.
It comes of easily with a razor blade. Although it should not actually be stuck to the bed but instead the hairspray. Be sure to use small binder clips so that when fully stretched the binder clip arms are parallel to the build plate. I cleaned the bed with izopropyl alcohol of high purity thats what it says on the container reheated the bed at 50c applied the hairspray then the print itself was done at 210c with cheap orange pla and the bed temp was 60c during printing.
Let it dry for a few minutes before you install the glass bed.
