Note 10 plus 3d scanner. First you need to get the app if its not preinstalled. Samsung has published a new app called 3d scanner on the galaxy store. Create fun 3d images with your galaxy note10 note10 5g s20 and s20 ultra by capturing an object using the 3d time of flight tof depth camera. To do that head to the galaxy store and search for 3d scanner then install it.
Simply download 3d scanner on your on your compatible galaxy phone to begin creating your very own 3d models. The galaxy s10 5g and galaxy a80 also have a tof sensor and should technically support the app but galaxy note 10 owners wont be able to use it as the smaller note 10 doesnt have a tof camera at the back. You can add the resulting scan to photos or add the 3d scan to a video where it will follow your friends movements. Samsung demonstrated the 3d.
So for anyone who might want to try the 3d scanner on their note10 plus out heres how. Thanks to the tof sensor on the samsung galaxy. If you dont see it in the store you can also install the apk file manually from xda here. Thanks to the depthvision camera the 3d scanner app was first introduced on galaxy note10 allowing you to take a 360 degree snapshot of an object and turn it into an animated gif to send it to your friends.
Described as a groundbreaking first for the note the galaxy note10 is installed with a depthvision camera allowing users to scan objects for instant 3d rendering.
